SPIRITUAL CARE & RETREAT OPPORTUNITIES
PILGRIMAGES
A pilgrimage has historically involved individuals or groups traveling to a location of spiritual significance. The journey, destination, and fellow travelers all intertwine to create the spiritual impact of the pilgrimage. Our pilgrimages consist of day-long experiences at specific locations such as state parks, museums, and historical sites where we will focus on a particular topic and activity. The goal of these short outings is to grow closer connections to one another, grow in understanding of a particular topic and its relevance to our spiritual care, and to share in the beauty of Creation. WORKSHOPS
Our monthly community workshops are designed for small groups of all ages to learn about a particular theme in our spiritual life through the eyes and example of Creation. From learning how foxes prepare their kits to endure 'Seasons of Change' to how tide-pools ecosystems have adapted to work together during 'Trials and Tribulations', each monthly workshop is created to reflect the season its shared in and provide participants with spiritual practices to continue after the workshop has ended. RETREATS
Our retreats are overnight experiences designed to help participants focus on a particular spiritual care need or theme more intensely. While a daily schedule is provided, our retreats make sure to balance planned events and free time to ensure participants are getting the most of their time and travel away from home. Each retreat is designed to occur in a specific location, ecosystem, or environment that enables a deeper dive into the theme. Our locations are also chosen to ensure that participants have all-ability access to buildings and acute medical care, that safety and standards for diversity, equity, and inclusion are upheld, and that special needs support is available. WEB EVENTS
Online Web Events provide a unique opportunity for individuals to share in a group experience from the comfort of their own home, office, or personal space. While nothing beats the connection experienced between people meeting face to face in Creation, Web Events provide an important chance to experience many kinds of diversity while celebrating each other's unique gifts. Whatever brings participants to our Web Events, we seek to ensure the experience is a connective, vibrant, and spiritually grounding as possible.
